Association of Higher Education Export represented in agent workshop in Hanoi
NET 24 hosted 80 participants during B2B physical educational workshop at the Pullman Hotel in Hanoi, Vietnam and bring together student recruitment agencies, educators from around the world to discuss the latest trends and innovations in global education - over 250 business-to-business meetings were conducted in just 3 hours.

Vidzeme University of Applied Sciences has joined Study in Latvia Consortium
For few month Study in Latvia Consortium has a new member - Vidzeme University of Applied Sciences which is located in Valmiera. Vidzeme University of Applied Sciences (ViA) is a state higher education institution, which offers 16 study programmes at the Faculty of Society and Science and the Faculty of Engineering.

Nordplus Horizontal conference “Study quality in terms of multiculturalism in the Baltic countries”
On October 26, 2018within the framework of Nordplus Horizontal project NPHZ-2017/10151 representatives from ten higher education institutions from Latvia, Estonia and Lithuania participated in the conference “Study quality in terms of multiculturalism in the Baltic countries”, which took place in Talinn Health Care College, Estonia. From Latvia there were representatives from Turiba University, Higher Education Export Association and P.Stradins Medical College of the University of Latvia.

We are happy to inform that one more higher education institution in Latvia - Transport and telecommunication institute (TSI) - has decided to join the Higher Education Export Association (Study in Latvia Consortium). Now association has 14 members.
Jāzeps Vītols Latvian Academy of Music joins Study in Latvia consortium
On 22 June 2018 Jāzeps Vītols Latvian Academy of Music (JVLMA) officially has joined the Higher Education Export Association (Study in Latvia Consortium). Now association has 13 members with the same aim: to enhance the awareness of Latvia as a study destination by offering high quality training, studies and research and to initiate and implement different international programmes and cooperation projects in the field of training, education and research.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Higher Education Export Association signs a Memorandum of Cooperation
On 28 May 2018, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Higher Education Export Association (Study in Latvia Consortium) signed a Memorandum of Cooperation on attracting foreign students.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs welcomes the commitment of the Higher Education Export Association and its members to a careful selection of students. This is a good example that we encourage other Latvia-accredited higher education institutions to follow,” said Andrejs Pildegovičs, State Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The Memorandum of Cooperation is an essential instrument to promote joint activities, since it displays a mutual commitment to ensuring that the best foreign students travel to Latvia to study in higher education institutions accredited in this country.

"Study in Latvia" consortium participates in the educational exhibition in Ukraine
From 16th till 19th November ten higher education institutions of Latvia (Liepaja University, Latvia University of Agriculture, Latvia University, Turiba University, Riga Technical University, Rezekne University of Applied Sciences, Daugavpils University, RISEBA University, University of Economics and Culture, Ventspils University College) from the ‘Study in Latvia’ Consortium went to represent the opportunities of higher education in Latvia in the international exhibition “Education Abroad”, which took place in Ukraine, Kiev. Within this exhibition there were participating the local Ukraine universities, as well as the representatives from another European countries. Students, academic staff from universities and other interested people were taking interest in engineering, humanitarian, pedagogical and in social study programs. Although this was the first time, when so many universities from Latvia were presently participating altogether, it was seen that the interest of Ukrainian students about studying abroad, especially in the Baltic centre – Latvia, increases and one part of them are intended to have the international education and personal growth here.
“Study in Latvia” universities participate in the worldwide exhibition “International Education Fair 2017” in India
Starting from the 7th till the 16th of May, five biggest regional universities of Latvia (Liepaja University, Latvian University, Turiba University, Latvian University of Agriculture, BA School of Business and Finance) took participation in one of the most recognizable educational events held in India – “International Education Fair 2017”. This event took place in five cities - Hyderabad, Coimbatore, Bangalore, Chennai and Delhi. In the exhibition participated around twenty universities from all the world such as from Singapore, Malaysia, U.S., Australia, Germany, the Netherlands and all the others.
